PRACTICE SPECIFICS
- An interdisciplinary, outpatient-based pain management center with a full spectrum of anesthesiology-based pain management techniques, psychological and physical rehabilitation.
- This physician will work in partnership with the medical director of the Pain Management Program to further implement and expand our regional, comprehensive program including patient care, research and teaching.
- Scope of practice is primarily medical management of all types of pain. Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary pain team to deliver comprehensive pain assessments and treatments, provide consultations to providers regarding pain management and provides medical assessment and treatment for patients with acute, cancer and chronic non-cancer pain. Invasive pain procedures are supported/allowed, but is a limited part of the job
- We work closely with physiatry, occupational medicine, neurosurgery, neurology, nonsurgical (med) orthopedics and orthopedic surgery in a truly integrated neuromusculoskeletal system.
- No call; No weekend or holiday work
REQUIREMENTS
- BC/BE in PM&R, Anesthesiology or Neurology
- A minimum of two years of experience in an interdisciplinary management of chronic pain program or fellowship training in pain management
