PRACTICE SPECIFICS:
- Join 3 Nephrologists, call 1:4
- Full scope of Nephrology practice
- Clinical Nephrology, hypertension and post-transplant care.
- Hospital practice includes ICU and acute dialysis services as well as apheresis.
- Dialysis population of 225 patients with 2 units in Duluth (18 & 22 stations) and 6 satellite locations. Includes home hemodialysis, CAPD and CCPD.
- Inpatient care at Miller-Dwan Medical Center, 151 bed care center, & at St. Mary's Medical Center, a 350 bed tertiary care hospital.
- Team Members include: Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurse Practitioners, clinical assistants and patient service assistants
- Comprehensive consultative services available across all medical specialties.
- Physicians serve as Medical Director at all dialysis locations.
- Outreach consultative services at 10 regional clinic locations.
- Hospitalists handle night admissions.
