PRACTICE SPECIFICS:
- Seeking 1 Stroke Neurologist
- Building a Neuroscience Center of Excellence and Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Comprehensive and coordinated neuroscience programs supported by 4 Neurologists , 1 Pediatric Neurologists, 4 Neurology Nurse Practitioners, 3 Neurosurgeons, 1 Neurointerventional Radiologist, and 5 Adult Physiatrists.
- Practice Model-current rotation is 1-week hospital coverage/3 week's clinic coverage. When fully staffed, rotation will be 1-week hospital coverage/7 week's clinic coverage. Night call will be rotated between the group.
- Neuroscience unit at St. Mary's Medical Center includes a Neuro Trauma unit and Neuro step down unit along with general beds. St. Mary's is a 336-bed regional tertiary hospital. Inpatient rehab unit at Miller Dwan a 150-bed hospital.
- Practice supported by a wide variety of specialty services. Procedures offered include state-of-the-art electroneurodiagnostics, all new digital EEG/Video evoked potential equipment, intraoperative monitoring, depth electrode recordings, a regional sleep disorders center, Invasive Cardiology, Rehab services and comprehensive CT and MRI services.
- Opportunities to specialize in Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuro Critical Care/Neurology Hospitalist and open to other Neurology Specialties.
